Responsibilities
As a Business Data Analyst Intern at Pantry, you will:
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to operations, customer behavior, and sales performance.
• Generate actionable insights to support decision-making across departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and build data dashboards.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Support A/B testing initiatives and contribute to performance evaluations of digital and offline channels.
• Prepare reports and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Help optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory strategies based on data.

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who have:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and one or more data tools such as SQL, Python, R, SPSS, or Power BI/Tableau.
• Basic understanding of business metrics, especially in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce sectors.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data in simple terms.
• Self-motivation and curiosity to explore data for problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
